Mortgage Updates

Last week HR 600 was introduced to congress to be included in the stimulous packge to be signed by President Obama on February 16th.  This is the only piece of the stimulous package that does not cost taxpayers a dime and that will have an immediate effect on strengthening home values and boosting local governments through the solidifying of the currently erroding property tax base.

This new bill contains strong language and "teeth" to prevent abuseby greedy real estate agents and lenders seeking only their own financial gain and home ownership classes for buyers to to set conditions for sustainable home ownership.

Besure to act now.  This bill can make a real difference in turning aroound our neighborhoods, provide housing to folks that would like to get into a home of their own, but lack cash - and get our real estate community working again serving our neighbors.
